These sweet small potted clusters of the Australian Native Black Orchid will have at least three bulbs in a pot. This pot size is generally not at flowering age until the following year of purchase. However, you may be lucky enough to get a small flower spike during the flowering months. 

This orchid size has leaves averaging 25cm long and is delivered in either a 115mm or 180mm pot.

*This orchid age is not suitable for intestate orders (outside of QLD). Although the orchids can handle the biosecurity treatments and the travel, it sets them back too much being so young*


Please know that deliveries outside of QLD will need biosecurity inspection and treatment, which may delay your order's arrival. Potted orchids will also be delivered bare-rooted as directed by Australian Biosecurity.


The Shipping Journey

Small and medium Orchids will be posted from the rural property via Australia Post on the SKYTRANS mail plane. 

The plane does its weekly run to the Cattle Station each Monday. 

Larger Outback Orchids are either professionally packed by Us or Pack and Send in Cairns, and delivered via Courier. 

*Deliveries outside of QLD will have a higher express freight charge when making your purchase at the checkout, as this covers biosecurity treatment and inspections.

*International deliveries are not an option at the moment. However, please contact us with your interests.

Plant Biosecurity Certification

Interstate deliveries (except NSW) need to be chemically treated and inspected by a QLD biosecurity officer at the time of postage. This can cause a delay in delivery of up to three months.

Please do not delay your purchase as higher order numbers can bring the inspection date sooner, and stock runs out.
